Community Prayer
Tuesday prayer
As a church we believe that Prayer is the engine room of the Church.
Prayer, fervent prayer is a God given gift to both the individual believer and to the gathered Community.
Currently we pray on the first and third Tuesday of each month, 11:00AM-12 noon to pray together and believe with each other concerning various issues within people’s lives, the church, our City, nation, and the world.

Cameo, Purpose & Chatterbox

“Cameo” Stands for Come and Meet Each Other and is a weekly event that takes place on a Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm.
Cameo is a place where mature people can come and relax in a warm and happy environment. Tea, coffee and cakes are served followed by a short talk, quizzes, craft activities, indoor bowling, bingo and sometimes as visit to the Garden Centre. Currently, there is a charge of £1 per head.

Purpose will be starting back in September 2022 and this is our Friday night youth group for school years 7-13 (Ages 11-18yrs).

At Chatterbox, parents and carers are welcome with children from birth to school age. We run a relaxed session with time for children to play and adults to chat. We do not charge a fee, but welcome donations. We provide tea, coffee and biscuits.
Drop in any time on Thursday morning from 9-11.30am.
Second Chance Charity
Second Chance charity shop is an excellent bridge between the church and community and has raised the profile of Carlton Community Church and gives people the opportunity to talk about and discover the Christian faith.
Our shop has warm and friendly staff, alongside great goods and quality service and our pre-loved goods are available to buy at reasonable prices, with many satisfied customers. The shop employs a number of people and also has a number of volunteers. If you intend to donate goods please be aware during this Covid-19 pandemic you will need to ring the shop and arrange with a member of staff to drop it off.
